The kitchen was lowered and extended to accommodate a dining area connecting to the garden via a new terrace.

The design takes cues from the existing building; the new roof and ceiling follow the pitch of the existing rear outrigger which allows a generous volume internally. Three thoughtfully placed skylights bathe the space in natural light.
